TextMarkets.com will only use information you provide in connection with the Service to transmit the Content or as otherwise described in these Terms and Conditions; however, TextMarkets.com reserves the right, at all times, to disclose any information, including your identity, as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect its rights and/or property.  By registering for and participating in the Service, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information.  If TextMarkets.com in its sole and absolute discretion, believes that any information you provide is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, it may refuse your access to the Service and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.

Advertisers and Personal Identity Protection

Textmarkets.com is in the business of selling advertising to merchants.  Merchants create a text message and have the ability to send to TextMarket.com subscribers who have agreed to receive one text per day.  TextMarkets.com does not share subscriber personal information including mobile phone number, e-mail address or name with merchants.  Merchants only select subscribers from our database based on zip code and gender based demographics and then select a number of subscriber they wish to receive a message.  No other information is disclosed.  TextMarkets.com will not sell or disclose any subscriber personal information to any party.

Data Security

Textmarkets.com uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information.  We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Textmarkets.com and you do so at your own risk.  Once we receive your transmission of information, Textmarkets.com makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems.  However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.  If Textmarkets.com learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps.

Children’s Privacy

If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access Textmarkets.com at any time or in any manner. 

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important.  For that reason, Textmarkets.com does not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years-of-age.  If Textmarkets.com learns that personally-identifiable information of persons less than 13-years-of-age has been collected on or through Textmarkets.com, then Textmarkets.com will take the appropriate steps to delete this information.

If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 who has become a Textmarkets.com subscriber, then please contact Textmarkets.com at [email protected] to have that child’s account terminated and information deleted.

For Users visiting Textmarkets.com from the European Union or other non-U.S. territories, please note that any data you enter into Textmarkets.com will be transferred outside the European Union or such other non-U.S. territory for use by Textmarkets.com and its affiliates for any of the purposes described herein.  In addition, because Textmarkets.com operates globally, we may make information we gather available to worldwide business units and affiliates.  By providing any data on Textmarkets.com, you hereby expressly consent to such transfers of your data to the United States or other countries.
